And after welcoming her second child into the world earlier this year with Oli, Sienna told Stellar Magazine that she couldn’t recommend late motherhood more.

Before welcoming her second child, Sienna spoke for the first time about her pregnancy with Vogue.

During the rare interview, the Horizon: An American Saga star spoke candidly about how her pregnancy had been “unplanned.”

But she added that Marlowe had long wanted to have a brother and admitted that she felt “more prepared psychologically” than with her first-born.

Sienna said: ‘I was very lucky. I wasn’t necessarily trying to get pregnant. This happened as a complete surprise and biologically it was something I could do.”

Speaking about what’s different this time, he explained: ‘I have expectations that I didn’t have before. I feel much more prepared psychologically than with Marlowe.’

‘It was quite a shock, really. I hadn’t thought about it, I guess you can’t prepare for it. In my mind, I imagine it will be the prettiest, but I think I’ve forgotten.

Sienna continued to address the stigma around pregnancy as an older woman and confessed that she had been struggling with her own prejudices on the subject.

She added: “I would love to get to a point where I don’t feel the need to make a joke about being older and having a baby, to show that I’m in on the joke.”

In an interview earlier this year, he explained: “I think you either live your life cautiously or take risks.”

He added that whatever the success or failure of his choices, he is finally at peace.

‘For a long time I felt the need to prove something, and I can see that reflected in the decisions I made. I pursued roles that were very heavy, very dramatic and emotionally challenging because I felt I was probably seen as frivolous. I’m completely over that.’
