Christifer Mikhail was trapped inside a narrow hallway when the unnamed passenger went berserk in a Hulk-like state, ripping off his shirt and causing chaotic scenes just an hour after the ship set sail.

Disturbing footage, captured by Mikhail while he was just meters away, shows the passenger spiraling out of control in a fit of rage, kicking a door and shouting profane language while removing his clothes.

He allegedly threatened to kill Mikhail and others who witnessed his disturbed behavior, before chasing them down the ship’s narrow hallway.

“The gentleman who was drunk said he was going to kill us and then he started chasing us down the hallway,” Mikhail said. FOX11.

While trying to flee the escalating incident, Mikhail recalled that an employee ran to a nearby towel closet to escape the perpetrator.

“The crew member I was traveling with was able to lock himself in one of the towel rooms,” he said.

‘I was a little scared. I’m stuck in this hallway, everyone else was like after something.’

Moments before Mikhail caught the passenger violently kicking the door, he claims to have seen the man kick one crew member with his steel-toed boots and punch another, sending him backwards several meters.

‘He could have hit me and thrown me 30 feet. The guy he hit went flying a couple of meters back,” Mikhail recalled.

Cruise ship security was able to apprehend the uncontrollable passenger using pepper spray, zip ties and handcuffs.

The man was reportedly taken to one of the ship’s two cells right after being detained.

However, the man seen in the video breaking down the door died shortly after being detained, a family member told FOX11.

She leaves behind a child with severe autism and a fiancé, the family member explained to the outlet.

The 4,000-passenger Navigator of the Seas ship bound for Ensenada, Mexico, had left the port of San Pedro in California just hours before the harrowing incident.

No information has been released about the passenger or the cause of his death.

A Royal Caribbean spokesperson said in a statement: “We are saddened by the passing of one of our guests.

“We offered support to the family and are working with authorities in their investigation.”
