Melania Trump is famous for her classic style, which includes a fresh hairstyle and a rounded French manicure.
However, the former First Lady revealed a surprising style change during a formal dinner at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.
The former model was on hand to support her husband, Donald Trump, 78, as he hosted Akie Abe, the widow of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, 62, on Sunday.
“It was a privilege to welcome Mrs. Akie Abe to Mar-a-Lago once again,” said Melania, 54. published in X (formerly Twitter).
“We fondly remember your late husband, former Prime Minister Abe, and honor his remarkable legacy,” she told her 3.1 million followers.
In the photo she shared, Melania appears to be debuting a new nail shape, showing off long claws with a tapered tip in a wintery shade of white with a metallic hue.
In the past, the incoming First Lady was always photographed with a white-on-white French manicure, which could be seen as she often placed her hand on her heart during official appearances.
In fact, she’s even been seen with a matching French pedicure on her toes.

Fittingly, despite its name, the French manicure originated in Hollywood and not France.
The famous French manicure became a universal style in the ’70s, when women flocked to salons in search of the now-classic style.
American film producer Jeff Pink, who founded ORLYcreated the natural nail look as a way to help actresses save time before changing wardrobes on set.
The manicure then became popular on the runways of Paris and has received several makeovers over the years with pops of color and slimmer, more modern curves.
Melania has always stayed true to the original design.
While Melania praised the dinner at X in 2017, Trump claimed that the First Lady of Japan did not speak English.
Trump told the New York Times that during a G20 dinner he was sitting “next to Prime Minister Abe’s wife, who I think is a great guy, and she’s a great woman, but she doesn’t speak English.”
After the NYT reporter asked, ‘Zero?’ Trump responded: ‘Like, not ‘hello.'”

Even though the manicure has undergone many fashion changes, Melania has stayed true to the original design over the years, until now.
Melania has been a long-time fan of the French manicure and has even been seen with a matching pedicure.
Despite her claims, she was seen on camera giving a 15-minute speech in English at the High-Level Symposium on Coastal Resilience on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly.
This is not the only style change that the Slovenian-American has debuted in recent days as her husband prepares for his second term.
Incoming Vice President JD Vance, 40, shared a photo on X (formerly Twitter) on December 12 that appeared to reveal that Melania wears hair extensions.
The Hillbilly Elegy author posted a behind-the-scenes look at Melania and the former Apprentice host watching the New York Stock Exchange on a TV that apparently showed off her clip-in hair.
London hairstylist Julia North confirmed to DailyMail.com that she appears to be wearing “tape-in or beaded extensions.”
“Telltale signs can be detected at the junction of natural hair and extensions, especially visible in the middle zone,” revealed the hair extension specialist.
