Sydney’s light rail has been plunged into chaos after all three services were temporarily out of service.

Transport NSW announced around 9.30am on Tuesday that lines L1, L2 and L3 were out of service.

The disaster was blamed on a “network-wide communications problem.”

Before the light rail was back in operation at 10:10 a.m., replacement buses were organized.

“L1, L2 and L3 light rail services are running again following a network-wide communications issue,” Transport NSW said.
