The sweet and sour flavor has not been available in its own bag since 2019, causing distress to fans who requested its return.

NestlĂ©’s confectionery marketing director Melanie Chen confirmed that more fans asked for Peaches and Cream to be returned to shelves than any other flavour.

“We’re so excited to bring back a fan favorite just in time for summer fun, holiday games, and sharing with friends and family over the holidays,” he said.

Fans first launched a petition to bring back the flavor in mid-2020, less than a year after they disappeared from Coles and Woolworths shelves.

“I can assure you that I am not the only one lamenting the loss of the sweet peach gummies,” the petition creator wrote.

“I just don’t think these gummies are getting the recognition they deserve. It’s so disappointing when you buy a party bag and you only get two or three inside, it’s not satisfying!”

Allen was quick to notice the request and let fans know that if enough of them demanded a return, this could happen.

‘Who knows what the future holds?’ the brand joked.

The brand then directed fans to the party mix, which features the candies alongside others.

“Life is not rosy without these,” one person wrote, signing the petition.

“I’m sick of buying party mixes to get four – they don’t taste the same once they’ve been in a bag with other stuff,” said another.

‘These are the only palettes I like. For some reason I don’t really like popsicles, but the citrus flavor of these is different.

‘If I want them, I have to send them from abroad and they cost between 30 and 50 dollars. I’m sick of it.

The petition fell silent after a few months, but gained momentum two years ago when a woman claimed she was “desperate” for them to be in her own bag.

A month ago another person signed the petition demanding that Peaches and Cream get their own bag.

There is only one in the bag. I need a complete bag. Pineapples got that treatment, now it’s time for P&C (and this time make it last),’ he said.

Individual bags of Peach and Cream popsicles have now launched nationwide and cost $5.
