“It’s still a pretty scary time and the last few nights have been very difficult, but I wanted to say I’m absolutely humbled by all your messages of support.

An atrioventricular block is a disorder that occurs when electrical impulses are delayed or blocked from reaching the ventricles.
The cause has been a “mystery” and Max, who has battled alcoholism in the past, previously said: “We’ve canceled some things, like alcohol for example, I haven’t had a drink for four and a half years.” half a year so it’s not that.’
She told her followers: “I hope you’re having a good night, I spoke to the nurse earlier and the good news is I’m getting a scan sooner than I thought.”
“So that’s really good, and it’s called 2:1 block, that’s what we know right now, we’re going to try to figure out the cause before we determine how we treat it, whether it’s a pacemaker, a defibrillator or something else.”
Looking on the bright side, he joked: “So that’s where I am, feeling good tonight, the City game didn’t help much,” after his beloved Manchester City lost to United.

A pacemaker is a small, battery-powered device that prevents the heart from beating too slowly. Surgery is needed to install it and the operation is usually performed under local anesthesia.
Following his health scare last week, Max shared on Instagram: ‘Hello everyone, yesterday I felt really bad and they took me to the hospital. Unfortunately, after some tests, they found out that I have some problems with my heart.’
‘I have many more tests to determine the extent of the problems and what surgery I will need to recover.
‘It’s going to be a tough few weeks/months…and Christmas in a hospital bed wasn’t exactly what I had planned! But, as always, I am surrounded by love and support from my wonderful partner Maisie (Smith), her family, my family and friends… and I am 100% in the best place.
‘Although this is a huge shock and certainly a setback, it is something I will face with all my might! I consider myself very lucky that this was detected when it occurred.
This week, Max, who has battled alcoholism before, admitted he is “very lucky that his heart problem was caught when it was” while sharing the health scare.
Max shared on Instagram: “Hi everyone, yesterday I felt really bad and they took me to the hospital.”
He added: ‘Sorry if I bore you with updates in the next few weeks… I’ve probably been in bed for a month and there’s not THAT much to do! Let’s do this! Much love, Max x’
Shortly after his announcement, Max posted a light-hearted joke from his hospital bed about Manchester City’s defeat in Wednesday night’s football match.
Lying in bed with a heart monitor on his chest, he joked: “So I think they’re officially trying to kill me… come on guys.”
Max has been open about his battle with binge drinking and alcoholism over the years, previously admitting he drank “10 pints and three bottles of wine in one night.”
