Footage has emerged of Bruno Fernandes apparently arguing with a Manchester City fan after Manchester United’s derby victory.

Ruben Amorim led his team to an impressive 2-1 victory at the Etihad in their inaugural Manchester derby thanks to goals from Fernandes and Amad Diallo.

The United captain scored two minutes before the Ivorian winger, misleading Ederson to convert from the penalty spot.

And afterwards, the Portuguese midfielder was delighted celebrating with the traveling United fans.

Fernandes, after chants of ‘four in a row’ from City fans throughout the match, turned his attention to a home fan and raised his fingers to point to the scoreboard.

He paid tribute to Diallo’s “unstoppable” form after the 22-year-old won the penalty before scoring the winning goal.

‘He has been doing great things and there is much more to come. “He is always active, always alive and that is why he receives the penalty and the goal,” Fernandes told BBC Sport.

“He’s been brilliant, but I shouldn’t say too much as we need to keep him at this level.” “That’s unstoppable.”

Diallo has scored two goals and provided six assists in the Premier League this season.

Only Bukayo Saka (10) and Mohamed Salah (nine) have managed more assists than him in the league this season.

Diallo only started four league games under Erik ten Hag this season and has already managed more since his departure (five).

‘He’s eager for more. When you do things well you get opportunities, you get goals, you get momentum,’ Fernandes added.

‘It’s been really good for us. I want to keep him under the radar so he continues more and more because I want Amad to do this in every game.

“We know we have a quality team, but not all of them have shown their quality to the fullest.”
