Kelsey Parker admitted she “hates Christmas” following the death of her late husband Tom, who passed away in March 2022.
The widow, who shares children Amelia, five, and Bodhi, three, with the late Wanted singer, confessed she does not enjoy the festive period and believes it is “overrated”.
Chatting with Georgie Jones on the couple’s podcast Mom’s word, Kelsey said: ‘I hate Christmas. I feel like I’ve hated him since Tom died. I think it’s just the rumor.
Referring to Kelsey’s new boyfriend, Will Lindsay, Georgia offered, “Maybe Will can change this for you.”
Kelsey added: “I love it for kids, but I think it’s so overrated that you’re on the treadmill that the lead-up is great, but then… Bah Humbug!”
When asked about her plans for this year, Georgia asked if she would spend it with her new man and Kelsey confessed: ‘Wwe haven’t really talked about Christmas.

“He’s the most relaxed person; he might as well be horizontal.” He is very close to his family. so that’s it so lovely.’
The mother of two also took to Instagram with a heartfelt post in which she opened up about spending her third Christmas without her husband.
Sharing a series of snaps of the couple over the years, she wrote: “This will be our third Christmas without Tom, and while the holidays are filled with so much love and joy, they also bring moments of deep sadness.
“Seeing the children’s excitement reminds me how much I loved this time of year…and I feel its absence in everything we do.”
She continued: ‘But we find strength in our memories! In each other and in creating new traditions keeping Tom’s spirit alive.
“To anyone going through grief during the holidays, you are stronger than you think.”
Kelsey previously revealed she met her new boyfriend organically after deciding not to try dating apps for fear people would think she had ‘moved on’ and forgotten her pop star husband Tom.
She told Ranvir Singh during an appearance on Lorraine: “We met up with friends, he went out with a group of guys and I went out with a group of girls and we just had a connection.”

Kelsey was widowed in March 2022 when her husband Tom died after a battle with brain cancer at just 33 years old.
‘I just wanted to meet someone authentic. I couldn’t have done a dating app, I was so scared and it was people’s judgment on moving forward and meeting someone, but everyone was so supportive.
“The love they have shown me is so amazing.”
Kelsey also explained that she initially found it difficult to go out and date because she was worried about the reaction.
She said: ‘There is no right or wrong way to grieve. We all talk about timing, when is the right time to move on, but I don’t think there is a right time and with the cards I’ve been dealt, I have to throw them away.’
And she added: “I never thought that at the age of 32 and two children I would be a widow.”
