UFC welterweight and devout Donald Trump supporter Colby Covington is trying to link LeBron James to the growing sex trafficking scandal facing Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
“I want to ask LeBron, what does he mean by ‘There’s no party like a Diddy party?'” Covington asked during a news conference to promote Saturday’s fight with Joaquin Buckley.
“LeBron, you’re a fucking bastard and I hope they put you in the same cell as Diddy,” Covington later added.
Covington, 36, was randomly referencing a four-year-old Internet clip in which James bragged about attending one of Combs’ infamous parties.
Of course, Combs is now behind bars awaiting trial on sex trafficking allegations and claims he raped and drugged victims as young as nine years old on these evenings. These parties supposedly turned into huge orgies, sometimes lasting for days. Combs continues to insist that he has been wrongfully accused and maintains that, while sleazy, all parties were consensual.
Meanwhile, James has not been accused of any sexual misconduct. The Lakers star is currently away from the team for “personal reasons” after recently announcing he would be taking a break from social media, something Covington took advantage of during Wednesday’s press conference.

“I really want to know, and not only that, LeBron, how many Diddy’s parties have you attended?” —Covington asked.
‘I’m very curious to know, and is that the reason you left social media? Because of all the reaction you were getting from attending so many Diddy’s parties?
Covington continued to attack James over the NBA star’s support of Black Lives Matter and
“It’s just pathetic, man,” Covington added. ‘People think this guy is a role model, he wants to defund the police; the most patriotic people in America, serving and protecting our country.’
James’ lawyer did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com’s request for comment.
Combs, who faces more than 100 allegations of sexual abuse, has been known to launch outlandish “freak-offs.”

The rapper has been detained since his arrest in September on charges of coercing and abusing women for years with the help of a network of associates and employees. An indictment accuses him of silencing victims through blackmail and violence, including kidnappings, arson and physical beatings.
James has not commented on the resurfaced video and has not been linked to any of Combs’ crimes.
The fighter also attacked Jon Jones on Wednesday, claiming that the UFC heavyweight champion and Covington’s former college roommate is a “fucking coward” and a “cheater.”
Covington has made a name for himself as one of Trump’s biggest supporters in the UFC, although Jones recently presented the president-elect with a UFC championship belt at Madison Square Garden.
James, on the other hand, has been critical of Trump, whom he once referred to as a “bum” online.
