Marjorie Taylor Greene storms into Pentagon ‘full of bullshit’ for hiding the truth on ominous drones

U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene told DailyMail.com that it's BS that the federal government doesn't know what's flying over New Jersey

Firebrand Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has accused the Pentagon of being ‘full of nonsense’ amid mysterious drone sightings.

The unidentified objects have been floating over New Jersey for almost a month, but the FBI and Pentagon say they have no answer as to who is behind them.

Greene told DailyMail.com: ‘I’m going to call it total bulls*** that no one knows what these are. And I think it’s a slap in the face to the American people to say they don’t know what this is.”

She added: “They can track down a man who just killed a CEO, but they can’t identify what these drones are and where they come from?”

“I think it’s absolutely disgusting to lie to the American people in this way, and the truth needs to be told about it.”

Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have no idea who or what is behind the ominous objects flying over New Jersey, leading to outrage and speculation that the US may be under attack.

One lawmaker, New Jersey Republican Rep. Jeff Van Drew, suggested this week that the UAPs could be drones connecting to an offshore “mother ship” controlled by the Iranian government.

Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh quickly shot that down.

“There is no Iranian ship off the coast of the United States, and there is no so-called mother ship launching drones toward the United States.” She added that there is “no evidence” that the UAPs (unidentified aerial phenomena) are “the work of a foreign adversary.”

Sightings have been reported above a military base in Rockaway that supplies ammunition to Ukraine, echoing events reported in Germany just two months ago, as well as acts of sabotage carried out by retired US Army General Darryl Williams have been reported throughout Europe.

So far, the Pentagon has not determined what the UAPs are and who is behind them.

When reached for comment on the mysterious phenomenon, a Pentagon spokesperson told DailyMai.com they had nothing to share.

“We have nothing new to report from the Department of Defense on this topic,” the spokesperson responded in an email.

During a congressional hearing earlier this week on Tuesday, an FBI official admitted he had concerns about the vehicles.

When asked if American citizens are “in danger” because of the UAPs, FBI Assistant Director of the Critical Incident Response Group Robert Wheeler testified: “There’s nothing known that would cause me to say that, but we just don’t know . . And that’s the relevant part.’

In a statement to DailyMail.com, an FBI spokesperson suggested this week that the planes are not drones but instead manned vehicles.

‘On examination of the available images, it appears that many of the reported sightings are in fact manned aircraft operating legally. There have been no reported or confirmed drone sightings in restricted airspace,” they said.

The FBI official added that they are still investigating the situation with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the New Jersey State Police.

Yet the agency “has not confirmed any of the reported visual sightings with electronic detection.”

Former Navy pilot Rep. Mike Garcia, R-Calif., told DailyMail.com that the drones clearly have “malicious intent.”

“I think there’s some malicious intent, whether it’s a foreign country or just a private citizen trying to see what he can get away with.”

The lawmaker, who is a member of the Subcommittee on Space and Aviation, admitted that he too believes the UAPs are controlled by China.

‘I think it involves involvement of the foreign government. I think the Chinese have a lot to gain by characterizing our bases and figuring out what our security protocols are for these things.”

When Garcia was asked whether the potential drones should be shot down, he hesitated.

“You have to be very careful when you do that because some of these bases have sensitive assets that you don’t want.” You know, a $500 drone falling on a billion dollar plane, right?”

‘So you have to take collateral damage into account, but we will find out. We are going to hold people accountable,” he added.

Democrats also expressed unease about the near-night flights over New Jersey.

“People deserve answers,” Rep. Eric Swalwell, R-California, told DailyMail.com. “They should know.”

“Local law enforcement, if it’s not identified and it’s over a sensitive area, they should be able to take it out,” he said of the UAPs. “We should be able to defend our airspace, you know.”

Mikie Sherrill, a former helicopter pilot from New Jersey, sent a letter to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on Thursday demanding answers.

“Americans, including my constituents in New Jersey, deserve confidence that the security of our national defense assets and their communities will receive the appropriate attention, resources and legal authorities,” she wrote to him.

One Republican lawmaker even expressed concern that the drones could be used to attack President-elect Donald Trump while he is at his golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey.

“They say some of these things are the size of a damn small vehicle. And next thing we don’t know, they could drop something from one of those things on the boss’s golf cart above Bedminster,” Rep. Troy Nehls, R-Texas, told DailyMail.com.

“You can’t have things like that flying around in our airspace and someone not knowing where it came from and who launched it,” Nehls continued. “If anything comes close to Bedminster I would highly recommend shooting ab****’s son straight out of the sky.”

Another Republican even suggested that the New Jersey phenomenon is not isolated.

“We’ve had a number of bases with, I guess you call them UAPs, flying over. We need to find out what they are and where they come from,” Texas Republican Rep. Jake Ellzey told DailyMail.com.

He added that US military bases across the country are no longer safe due to drone security breaches.

“No base in the United States is safe anymore,” he continued. “None of our aircraft are safe, and we must take appropriate precautions to ensure that our fleet of aircraft in the United States is invisible and protected at all military bases.”
