And now former Liverpool captain Jamie Carragher has become the latest expert to weigh in on the new era at Old Trafford, writing in the Telegraph that the team should get rid of one of its most important players.
He said: ‘There is also a dilemma looming for Bruno Fernandes. Unlike Rashford, Fernandes has been one of United’s best players during a difficult period and would have shined with more quality around him during his career at Old Trafford.
“But now it’s 30 years old and it may be valuable to get rid of it to raise funds.”
