A curious kangaroo has been caught hopping towards a Bunnings store.
Lisa Gungor had been browsing the outdoor furniture at her local Bunnings in Albany, Western Australia, when she was suddenly joined by a furry friend.
The kangaroo, which appeared to be a juvenile, was captured hopping into the nearly empty store and sniffing around the tables and chairs for sale.
“Shout out to Bunnings for my excellent shopping experience,” Ms Gungor captioned the video of the shocking encounter shared online.
Although you could use a few more woolly bushes for him to chew on.
“The bag was checked on the way out.”
Viewers were quick to share their appreciation for the quintessential Australian scene.
“I can’t even begin to describe how much I love this video,” one said.
The kangaroo, which appeared to be a juvenile, was seen inside a store in Albany, WA.
The kangaroo was seen inspecting the outdoor furniture for sale during the unexpected visit.
“This might be the most Australian thing on the internet right now,” wrote a second.
A third joked: “Can’t you just let others shop in peace without filming them?”
“He’s just minding his own business trying to get a deal on some outdoor furniture so he can have a nice Christmas with his friends.”
‘He wanted a new outdoor stage for his paddock!’ a quarter agreed.
But others suggested it was a symbol of the erosion of native habitats in Australia.
“It’s so sad that they are losing all their natural habitat to developers,” one wrote.
“He must be scared,” said another.
Ms Gungor confirmed the kangaroo later “came out” through the garden section.
