Naomi Osaka leaves Jamie Foxx's birthday party

Naomi Osaka was spotted leaving Jamie Foxx’s birthday party in Beverly Hills on Tuesday night with her rapper boyfriend Cordae, before stopping to help a nearby homeless man.

The tennis star, who recently announced she will end her 2024 season early due to a back injury, attended the star-studded bash at posh Chinese restaurant Mr Chow alongside the father of her one-year-old daughter.

She stunned in a black bomber jacket and red floral dress at the party, where the likes of Meagan Good, Jonathan Majors and Niecy Nash were also on hand to celebrate acting and singing legend Foxx’s 56th birthday.

And as she headed home at the end of the night, Osaka offered help to a homeless man battling HIV and lupus.

Naomi and Cordae’s driver pulled over and stood next to the man in question as they drove away from the scene, before they could be seen handing him a $10 bill.

Osaka could be seen watching from the back seat as the driver leaned out the window and handed over the cash.

The couple welcomed their first daughter together, one-year-old Shai, in July 2023.

Osaka has been through a test a few years after winning the Australian Open in 2021; After that win, she took a hiatus from the sport due to mental health issues before spending the entirety of last season on maternity leave.

In a shocking post on her Instagram Story, the Japan-born player shared a photo of herself on crutches after becoming unable to walk “without pain” last September.

“I was asked why I was so excited yesterday and honestly, if you don’t even include being pregnant again, New York being my home, etc., this was me a year ago,” she captioned the image.

“I couldn’t really walk without pain and I didn’t know if I could play at high intensity anymore.” So yeah, this sport means a lot to me.”
