Jorgie Porter has confirmed the birth of her second child with her fiancé Oliver Piotrowski, seven months after announcing her pregnancy.
The former Hollyoaks star, who played Theresa McQueen on the soap from 2008 to 2016, announced the birth of her daughter on Instagram on Wednesday.
Sharing a photo of the newborn’s tiny hand, Jorgie, 36, captioned the post with a special tribute to her nurse, writing: ‘She’s here…! We are complete.
“Thank you to everyone at Wigan Hospital, especially @sandi_goulding who is our everything… couldn’t have asked for a better day.”
Jorgie’s happy news comes three years after she suffered a devastating miscarriage while pregnant with quadruplets.
Former Hollyoaks co-stars and other famous friends were quick to send their congratulations to Jorgie.

The former Hollyoaks star announced the birth of her daughter to her Instagram followers on Wednesday alongside a photo of the newborn baby’s tiny hand.
‘Love ,’ said soap star Jennifer Metcalfe, while TOWIE’s Ferne McCann commented: ‘Congratulations babe .’
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline before the birth, Jorgie admitted it had felt like a long pregnancy, adding that the second time around wasn’t any better.
‘My belly has stretched a lot more. I feel like I’ve been pregnant for 54 years!’ she said.
Jorgie then went on to say that her due date could be surprising: ‘Give birth in four weeks but my bag is already packed because her head is busy so I can go out tonight!’
“I had a C-section the first time, so I’d like to do it again.”
Speaking about expanding her family, Jorgie, who welcomed a son named Forest with Oliver in November 2022, said: “I think it’s good because we don’t have a lot of family so we want to create a big family unit.”
“I think all women feel pressure to go back to work or can feel guilty about wanting to go back to work, so it’s all a bit in the middle of the field, but I have the best support.”

The pregnant soap star made the exciting announcement with a series of snaps of herself enjoying a gender reveal party.
She confirmed her pregnancy on an episode of ITVBe’s Drama Queens in May, revealing that she and Ollie were due to become parents again.
‘So guys…guess what? “I’m pregnant,” she told her co-stars.
Jorgie, who tragically lost her quadruplets at 14 weeks back in 2021, also took to Instagram to share a baby scan video featuring her little one and her dog, captioning it: “We’ve been keeping a little secret.”
Earlier this year, Jorgie opened up about her quadruplets’ devastating miscarriage in another episode of the reality show.
She explained: “For me, talking about babies, I’m like ‘yeah, let’s go.'”
‘But Oliver, it’s a rather undecided topic because he obviously knows the past situations, what we went through and also the risks.
‘I was at high risk. He literally could have died, and the doctors were telling him that… Oh, I get sad, because I think about him. Besides, I don’t have anyone else to talk to about it.
Earlier this year, Jorgie opened up about her quadruplets’ devastating miscarriage in 2021.
In August 2021, the couple discovered during their 14-week scan that Jorgie had lost the quadruplets they had conceived naturally and in February they learned of her second miscarriage six weeks into her pregnancy, on the day of their engagement party. .
