“Introducing our beautiful boy Lenny, who came into our lives on Monday night… 3.35kg, frank breech and butt first via c-section (yes, he’s already a stubborn little thing like his parents),” wrote the couple on Instagram.
‘Thank you for choosing us little man, waking up with you the last few mornings has truly felt like a dream. You already have us wrapped between your long fingers and toes.
Their celebrity friends and followers quickly took to the comments section to share congratulatory messages with the happy couple.
‘I am more than happy for all of you. Welcome to the world Lennox, you have no idea how lucky you are,” The Bachelor’s Laura Byrne wrote.
‘Oh God. CONGRATULATIONS and welcome to the world, little one,” added Rebecca Gibney.
It wasn’t long before cricket WAG Erin Holland joined the chorus and wrote: ‘Congratulations to you both! It’s divine xx’.
Just weeks before welcoming their little one, the couple experienced another big change in their lives when they moved into a new house to make room for their baby.
In November, the couple confirmed they had sold their Bondi apartment for $1.42 million and were expanding to make it their “dream” home on the northern beaches.
They first purchased their two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment shortly after finding love together on The Bachelor in 2021.
The property was originally going to be auctioned on November 19 with a price guide of between $1.4 million and $1.5 million, but got an offer ahead of schedule.
Sharing photos of themselves next to a “sold” sign, the couple confirmed in an Instagram post: “The end of a chapter and the beginning of an even bigger one.”
“At the risk of sounding cliché, what they say is true: there is no manual that prepares you for this type of love overnight,” they added.
‘Thank you for choosing us little man, waking up with you the last few mornings has truly felt like a dream. You already have us wrapped in your very long fingers and toes,’ they concluded.
‘Selling our beloved apartment and buying a house wasn’t necessarily on our bingo card at 8 months pregnant, but let’s just say you can’t challenge a woman in the nesting phase.
‘We bought our unit together after learning about Bach, having only had a few televised dates and a handful of moments without film equipment.
‘We were inspecting houses together via FaceTime while still living in secret before the show aired… so maybe the saying “when you know, you know” is true.
‘We can’t wait to share this next chapter of our lives with you as a family of 3 as we move into our first dream home on the Northern Beaches, where we both grew up. Let the DIY begin.’
