Seb Costello has been hitting the gym this year

It’s never easy to give up treats this time of year, as we approach the grading period and a seemingly endless stream of holiday party invitations.

But it seems quite a few male TV reporters are giving up party cakes and instead pledging to lose weight during the silly season.

Inside Mail last week revealed two of the nine most talked about stars, Seb Costello and Karl Stefanovichad carried out dramatic “transformations” before the festive holidays.

As you may recall, Costello had lost 19kg at last week’s weigh-in after doing his best to live healthy and working hard at his local Fitness Ring boxing gym in Richmond.

In fact, we heard that the prestigious journalist may have changed that last stubborn kilo to reach twenty when he stepped on the scale this time.

gym owner Tonia Bouzetos He is impressed by Costello’s commitment and believes he is a great example of what can be achieved with a little courage and determination.

And Stefanovic?

Well, he bought himself a pair of reading glasses in what is a good example of what a little visit to the optometrist can achieve.

He has already lost at least 19 kg and maybe more.

Now we’re hearing they’re not the only ones focusing on getting fit and “beach-bodied” in the run-up to the summer holidays.

News that one of his main rivals at Seven has been hitting Ozempic hard recently and his colleagues are now referring to him as “the incredible shrinking man on television” behind his increasingly slim back.

For starters, Inside Mail wouldn’t have exactly called him “chubby.” We don’t accept that kind of childish fat shaming.

Instead, we applaud him for his victory in his battle against the masses. If you had a little help from the doctor, who cares?

We’d tell you who we’re talking about… but what’s the fun in that?

Instead, we’ll let the astute Inside Mail readers see if they can pick the presenter… you’re usually pretty good at figuring that stuff out!
