Horror moment two tourists are killed in Bali’s Monkey Forest by a falling tree

Two visitors were reportedly killed when a large tree fell on them at a popular tourist destination in Bali.

The horrific incident occurred at the Monkey Forest sanctuary in Ubud around noon local time on Tuesday.

CCTV showed terrified tourists running for their lives as the large tree collapsed as a result of strong winds and heavy rain.

Some of those who fled the scene were young families with baby strollers.

The two foreigners who died are believed to have come from France and South Korea.

The area was quickly evacuated and has remained closed since then.

A traditional cleansing ceremony will be held at the appropriate time to honor the incident.
