50 Cent has taken a brutal swipe at Jay-Z after suggesting the rapper should no longer produce the Super Bowl halftime show amid claims he raped a minor.
Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, has been accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old along with Sean “Diddy” Combs at an after-party after the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards in a civil lawsuit filed Sunday.
In a fiery statement, the Roc Nation founder angrily denied the allegations and took aim at Texas lawyer Tony Buzbee – calling him a “deplorable human being” and an “ambulance chaser in a cheap suit” among other insults – while also revealing that he will. sit down with wife Beyonce to explain the matter to their young children.
Although he vigorously protests his innocence, Jay-Z has received no sympathy from bitter rival Curtis Jackson – better known as 50 Cent.
Jackson, who is working on a tell-all Netflix docuseries about the sex trafficking and racketeering crimes that Combs has been accused of, has had a longstanding feud with Carter after the pair traded insults on some of their songs in the late 1990s.
Carter was also accused by Jackson of trying to ban him from the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show, but he backtracked when Eminem threatened to pull out.

Jay-Z and his Roc Nation company have been helping produce the iconic music event for the NFL’s end-of-season showpiece since 2020, and in light of the sexual assault allegations, 50 Cent appears to be implying that he should no longer be involved.
Along with a famous meme showing him laughing in a car before driving away, Jackson wrote on Instagram, “Okay I don’t know what’s going on but are we still getting the Super Bowl (halftime show) *worried emoji* I ‘I’m just asking for a friend!’
Kendrick Lamar, who has a partnership with Roc Nation, is currently set to headline this season’s Super Bowl halftime show in New Orleans.
Usher performed at Super Bowl LVII earlier this year, while other previous shows have included Rihanna, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Jay-Z’s wife Beyonce put on glasses.
Jay-Z has vowed to clear his name after being hit with the civil lawsuit, which he claims was filed by Buzbee for “personal gain.”
In a letter released Sunday, he began: “My attorney received a blackmail attempt, a so-called demand letter, from an “attorney” named Tony Buzbee.
“What he calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle.”
‘No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you in a VERY public way for the fraud you’re committing,” he continued. ‘So no, I won’t give you a single red cent!!

“These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil complaint!! Whoever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked up, don’t you agree? These alleged victims would deserve real justice if that were the case.
“This lawyer, who I did some research on, seems to have a pattern of this kind of theater!” I have no idea how you became such a deplorable human being, Mr. Buzbee, but I promise you that I have seen your kind many times. I’m more than willing to deal with your type.
“You claim to be a Marine?! Marines are known for their bravery, you have no honor or dignity’
Jay-Z then said that it is “unfair” that his family, especially his eldest daughter Blue Ivy, will also be affected by the lawsuit. He also shares twins Rumi and Sir, seven, with Beyonce.
“My only heartbreak is for my family,” he continued. “My wife and I will have to sit down our children, one of whom is at the age when her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims, and explain the cruelty and greed of people.
‘I mourn yet another loss of innocence.’
