A young family of five is praying for a Christmas miracle after their house, cars and all their belongings were destroyed in a massive fire.
The inferno ripped through the house in Ravenswood, a small town in Western Australia, about 83 kilometers south of Perth, at 10pm on Sunday night.
The fire, believed to have been caused by lithium batteries, has left the family homeless and with only the clothes they were wearing just weeks before Christmas.
Police do not consider the fire suspicious.
Aden Weston said his sister’s house, several cars and all her belongings had been destroyed in the horror fire.
“Last night my sister’s family’s house in Ravenswood burned down due to lithium batteries,” he wrote in a GoFundMe.
‘Leaving my sister, her partner and her three young children homeless just before Christmas. Lee suffered burns and smoke inhalation due to the fire.
‘Unfortunately the entire house, all their belongings and their cars have completely disappeared. Currently they only have the clothes they escaped with.’

Hayley, her partner Lee and their three children, Cash, 9, Carter, 7, and Nate, two, managed to escape the inferno with only the clothes they were wearing (the family is pictured).
Weston pleaded with Australians to give his sister and her young family a “Christmas miracle” by donating to GoFundMe.
“All funds will go directly to Hayley and Lee for clothing, food, personal items and for all bills and cleaning,” he said.
WA Police said two officers who attended the fire suffered minor smoke inhalation.
“Inside one of the rooms of the house there was a hydroponic setup,” a police spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia.
“This is not believed to be related to the fire at this time.”
