Major police operation at Aussie city as dozens of people are evacuated from a building

Police are investigating a fire that caused the evacuation of an office building.

Dozens of workers left the building on Donnison Street in Gosford, on the New South Wales Central Coast, shortly after 2.30pm, after black smoke was reported rising from the third floor.

Fire and Rescue NSW said the building’s fire alarm was activated and several triple 0 calls were received.
