The home of Brighton player Valentín Barco has been raided days after his girlfriend, model and influencer, agreed to become his wife.
Last week, stunning brunette Yaz Jaureguy posted a video of her saying “Yes” while showing the 20-year-old Argentinian getting down on one knee to propose after a whirlwind romance.
But overnight she used her Instagram to post a horror story and photographs revealing that they had returned home from a romantic dinner to find it had been ransacked.
The robbery occurred at his new home in Seville, where Barco currently plies his trade after being loaned out by Brighton in his first season at the Premier League club.
Yaz, who started dating the footballer in December last year, wrote alongside a photo showing empty drawers and clothes strewn across the floor of her living room: “Coming home to find it had been ransacked like this.

Barco and Instagram Jaureguy started dating in December of last year and he recently proposed to her
He went on to add, claiming two male intruders were responsible and hinting it could be an inside job, though he didn’t mention names: “We obviously have cameras.”
‘Two men entered from the house next door, spent 50 minutes inside and left 10 minutes before we arrived.
‘The strange thing is that only one employee knew our movements and the only possible entry point and he left seven minutes before the intruders entered.
“We have already reported the theft to the police and we hope it will be resolved.”
The couple were left desperate after their year-long love story culminated with Valentine’s wedding proposal seven days earlier in a Seville square.
The former Boca Juniors player signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with Brighton in January, but was loaned out to Sevilla for the 2024-25 season in August.
Barco, who debuted for Argentina’s senior team on March 23 in a friendly against El Salvador, has failed to make much of an impression on the La Liga side.
Yaz, who started modeling at 18 and has 133,000 followers on Instagram, got Valentin’s name tattooed on her collarbone earlier this year, at the same time her partner got his name tattooed on her arm.
They showed off photos of their ‘his and hers’ tattoos before going public with the news that they were engaged.
