Lauren Phillips and Jase Hawkins’ radio careers have been saved after they were brutally booted from Melbourne’s KIIS FM last year.
The radio duo, who were replaced by Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson amid their $200 million radio expansion into the Victorian capital, have been picked up by Nova 100 as part of new breakfast programming.
Nova Entertainment announced Friday that the broadcasters will be making the jump, replacing its network’s current breakfast show team, Ben, Liam and Belle.
“I am beyond excited to join the Nova family,” Lauren said in a statement.
“I have been a fan of the station for a long time and joining Nova 100 is truly a dream come true.”

She added: “I’ve made the most of a few months off, but my plans to become a professional dog walker are on hold and I’m so ready to get back to work with Jase here in Melbourne.”
Meanwhile, Jase said: ‘I’m happy to have a job again. I’m even happier that we can join Nova.
“Throughout my entire career, I always wanted to be part of this network, it’s the perfect match for Loz and I. So I’m sorry Nova, we’re never leaving,” he added.
Melbourne, we’re back! So join us and come to Nova.
