Mariah Carey appeared on Instagram this Sunday to warmly welcome the month of December.

The ‘Queen of Christmas,’ 55, dazzled her nearly 14 million followers when she shared a slow-motion video clip set to the soundtrack of her signature Christmas song, All I Want For Christmas Is You.

The singing sensation was dressed in a red, low-cut, V-neck dress with long sleeves and matching gloves.

The curve-hugging model featured draping at the hips, accentuating the veteran musician’s figure.

Carey, who shares 13-year-old twins Monroe and Morocco with ex-husband Nick Cannon, wrote in the caption: “Going into December like…”

Her golden blonde locks were styled in a side part with side bangs as she walked towards the camera in slow motion in the clip.

The Fantasy hitmaker is currently hitting stages across the country as she performs her Christmas Time tour.

The tour was announced in August and celebrates the 30th anniversary of their timeless Christmas hit, All I Want For Christmas Is You.

The first show was on November 6 in Highland, California, and the final concert is scheduled for December 17 in Brooklyn.

Mariah’s setlist is completed with 26 songs and the concert lasts about 90 minutes.

Audiences will enjoy performances of the superstar’s biggest and most recognizable songs, as well as holiday classics.

It has become customary for Carey to promote her mid-’90s Christmas album during the last two months of the year.

The lead single is ubiquitous during the holiday season, as fans bring it back to the top of the music charts year after year.

Carey shared the story behind her biggest release, which she wrote with Brazilian composer Walter Afanasieff, 66, in a 2023 interview with Parade.

At the time, he said, “I was just writing down everything I thought.” All the things that reminded me of Christmas, that made me feel festive, and that I wanted other people to feel.”

Despite widespread reports that the song took only 15 minutes to write, Mariah said the recording process was not that simple.

“We took some time making the record because if you hear all those vocals in the background and everything, you can’t do it in five minutes,” he confessed.

She reiterated, “It’s literally impossible unless you have three choruses.”
