Mum holds grave fears for her missing daughter after final message sent from Sydney

A mother seriously fears for her teenage daughter’s safety after she went missing in Sydney on Thursday.

Hayley Bradshaw, 17, was last seen in Casino, New South Wales, on Tuesday, police said.

Officers believe she was in Sydney on Thursday.

Hayley’s family described the last contact they had with her and took to social media to ask for help.

The teenager’s mother, Sharmane Carter, said “the last message he sent me was that he was walking along (Sydney) Harbour”.

‘His phone has been off since then and he always has it on, as he is afraid without his phone on, and yet it has been off since then.

“We are all worried, stressed and want to know that she is safe and we need updates on her.”

Police were still searching for the teenager on CCTV footage, he said.

The teenager is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 130cm and 145cm tall, with a slim build and black hair.

She was last seen wearing a black sweater and sweatpants.

A New South Wales Police spokesperson said on Monday the teenager was “still missing and investigations are ongoing”.

Police and family are concerned for Hayley’s well-being, the spokesperson said.
