In addition to launching the Black Friday sale, Jetstar this week announced a new addition to its aircraft fleet.
The airline’s first A320 neo (New Engine Option) arrived in Australia after a three-day journey from the Airbus factory in Toulouse, France.
The airline called it “one of the quietest and most fuel-efficient aircraft in our narrowbody fleet.”
The plane can accommodate 188 Jetstar passengers in economy class.
To coincide with the new aircraft, Jetstar has launched an updated uniform with more than 6,000 employees having new options including blazers in blue and the airline’s signature orange, as well as dresses, tailored skirts, fitted trousers, polos and coats.
