A trip to the zoo took a shocking turn for a family after a stroller was hijacked by a troop of monkeys.
In a video shared on social media, a father can be seen pushing a stroller while holding a toddler in his arms when a mischievous monkey appeared at the Shoushan Zoo in Taiwan.
Appearing to be panicked, the man began to back away, keeping one hand on the stroller.
But suddenly another monkey ran over. One of the primates managed to grab the stroller, causing the man to lose his balance.
He fell to the ground with the child while the child’s mother, who was filming the video, screamed in the background.
A monkey then ran away with an object that had fallen out of one of the bags attached to the stroller. The other primate began to rummage through the family’s belongings.
The man can be seen standing up in disbelief as his son continued to cry, visibly upset and frightened by the incident.
In more images taken after the incident, a group of monkeys can be seen fighting near the stroller.
