Former WNBA star Kysre Gondrezick has revealed her life is more hectic than ever, despite being fired earlier this year.
The 27-year-old guard was cut by the Chicago Sky in June after seeing just 16 minutes of on-court action in the WNBA this year.
However, that doesn’t mean Gondrezick isn’t fully booked and busy. In fact, the player has revealed that she is just as busy as she juggles all aspects of her life both on and off the field.
The free agent is juggling the new influx of opportunities in fashion as she continues her training with an eye on a comeback to the competition.
“I’m everywhere now,” Gondrezick said The New York Post. ‘I’m taking acting lessons, an acting course. I’m getting ready to do some film work for 2025.
‘It’s been a great year. It’s funny, someone said, “You’ve been trending more since you got cut and since you were in the league – and you were so popular in the league.” I just live in the beauty of my purpose.”

Gondrezick caught the attention of several brands — most notably Victoria’s Secret — with her fashionable tunnel fits, including sultry power suits.
Gondrezick, like former teammate and close friend Angel Reese, has enjoyed a whirlwind foray into the fashion world, attending New York Fashion Week in September and the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in the Big Apple last month.
She even attended the Tommy Hilfiger Fashion Show on September 8 with her boyfriend Jaylen Brown, a championship-winning NBA star with the Boston Celtics.
In fact, just a week after being waived by the Sky, Gondrezick joined the 2024 NBA Finals MVP during the Celtics’ championship parade on June 21.
The sports power couple took their relationship to the next level the following month when they made their red carpet debut at the 2024 ESPY awards.
“So honestly it’s been a great year,” she said. “And I think the kickstart started when I got back into the league. That was the ultimate goal of getting back into the W. Obviously it didn’t go the way I expected at the completion of a season, but I don’t doubt God.
‘…I’m just excited to see the outcome of what my journey with the W will be because I don’t think I’ll be done anytime soon. I don’t want to say this was an ending. I want to say it was more of a transition.”
Despite her rise to fame off the court, Gondrezick insisted her goal was still to return to basketball.

Gondrezick was selected by the Fever out of West Virginia University with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2021 WNBA draft.
She spent 2022 training camp with the Sky, who signed her to a one-year, non-guaranteed contract.
Since being fired, she has remained focused on her “true love” of basketball, revealing that she has been working “really hard” in training.
And as she focuses on a return to the W, she admitted she would jump at the chance to play in the ‘Unrivaled’ competition this season.
“For me, nothing is off the table,” Gondrezick said when asked about the new 3×3 league founded by Liberty’s Breanna Stewart and Lynx’s Napheesa Collier.
“I just try to honestly enjoy day to day, do my part and stay ready so I don’t have to prepare. Of course that was also a conversation. I have my team, my agents who are already in contact with coaches and general managers, who just want to know my regimen.”
Gondrezick was not selected in the league’s first draft last week, but two wild-card spots remain open.
In the meantime, the Michigan native teased a “major project” that will be announced soon.
