That’s right, it’s Claudia Schiffer, catwalk queen and wife of Argylle director Matthew Vaughn, 51.
Claudia promoted raising vital funds for UNICE, the UN agency that provides humanitarian and development assistance to children around the world.
She designed a t-shirt with her dog Sultan’s face on it, as she fondly remembers walking the German Shepherd as a child, sharing that “Every child deserves the joy of play, connection and laughter.”
Schiffer is currently a British Goodwill Ambassador for the organization.
Actress Olivia Colman also took part in the initiative as she led the stars at the UNICEF UK World Children’s Day Gala in London on Wednesday.
Once Upon Our Time’s opening gala hosted 200 guests and raised a grand sum of approximately $839,000 “to support UNICEF as it continues its life-changing work to ensure children’s futures and their childhoods are protected,” according to a statement.
Born in the small town of Rheinberg, Germany, to mother Gudrun and father Heinz Schiffer, Claudia rose to fame after being discovered by Michel Levaton, the founder and CEO of French modeling agency Metropolitan Models.
After high school, she embarked on a modeling career, starting with a trial photo shoot in Paris. This led to her first cover on Elle magazine.
In 1989, the 6-foot-4 blonde beauty began starring in campaigns for Guess, and was later chosen by the late Karl Lagerfeld to become the new face of Chanel.
