The 55-year-old comedian still sported a burly gray beard as he listened on wireless headphones while carrying a black backpack that matched his puffer jacket.
The street sighting of Jack (born Thomas Jacob Black) occurred on the same day. eastern time aired an interview in which he lamented how he ‘wished’ his son Samuel, 18, and son Tommy, 16, had appeared in his new Christmas comedy, Dear Santa.
“They’re at that age where they’re like, ‘Oh, Dad, you’re not that cool. He just walks about a hundred meters in front of us. Pretend we don’t know each other,” Black said crestfallen.
“They don’t want to be with me, but that’s okay.”
The Emmy winner’s son, Samuel, was the spitting image of him and his wife Tanya Haden during a walk around the neighborhood last year. posted a video of his son Tommy ‘smashing the drums’ in June.

Jack and the 53-year-old cellist and painter originally met while attending Crossroads School as teenagers, reconnected in 2005 at a friend’s party and celebrated 18 years of marriage last March.
Before Tanya, Black had romances with comedians Laura Kightlinger and Kathy Griffin.
The Borderlands actor plays Satan, who is summoned from hell by a dyslexic boy, in Bobby Farrelly’s Christmas comedy that premiered Monday on VOD/Paramount+.
“I feel like this was the role I was born to play,” Jack joked.

The PG-13 family film also stars Robert Timothy Smith, Keegan Michael-Key, Ben Stiller and Post Malone.
“When I found out that (Post) was going to come and do a big cameo, I was very grateful to him,” Black recalled.
“And I said, ‘Dude, I owe you one, brother.'”

Jack and his 64-year-old bandmate co-founded their Grammy-winning comedy rock duo back in 1994.
