But big screen heartthrob Glen Powell was upstaged by an even brighter star when he was spotted in Glasgow filming his next blockbuster.
The Top Gun and Twisters actor was carrying his rescue dog Brisket, with his adorable companion arriving in town fresh off a red carpet appearance and cover shoot for Entertainment Weekly.
The white and tan terrier mix has amassed a cult following on the internet since he was adopted in 2023.
The cute dog has his own Instagram page with the name @hotbrisket which has almost 150,000 followers.
And Brisket once again stole the show yesterday as fans competed for selfies, with a group of students managing to catch people’s attention by holding up a sign that read: ‘Can we meet Brisket?’

Brisket, who had 149,000 followers on Instagram, was adopted by Powell last year.
The 36-year-old Texan is in Scotland to film scenes for the remake of the 1980s hit The Running Man.
He will take on the lead role originally played by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the futuristic dystopian film.
The actor adopted Brisket when he was going through a breakup and decided he needed to “be a dog dad.”
The star insists that Brisket also carries the entire crew during filming. Powell added: “It’s been the biggest addition to my life.”
“Sets can be very lonely places and it’s interesting when you see a dog showering you with love, how it brings the cast together even more.”
