The couple were all smiles as they left B&M with five large bags of shopping loaded into their trolley.
It comes as Katie turned down a promotional event to promote her pantomime Cinderella with her friend Kerry Katona.
Katie and Kerry will play the evil stepsisters in the production at Northwick Memorial Court in Cheshire.
Tickets for the festive show hit a new sales record for the theatre, but while Kerry was spotted at the Northwich Christmas lights switch-on, Katie was nowhere to be seen.
A source said the sun: ‘Katie said she had another work commitment so couldn’t attend, but that didn’t go down too well with the rest of the cast and the pantomime organisers.
“Many people had no idea why she wasn’t there and were waiting for her. They feel she should have made it work since the Christmas lights switch-on was a great promotional event to boost ticket sales.
Katie’s representatives told MailOnline: ‘Kate has work obligations and the team were informed well in advance. He’s on his way north to begin rehearsals with Kerry.

It comes as Katie turned down a promotional event to promote her pantomime Cinderella with her friend Kerry Katona.
The pantomime, which will take place in December, will mark the first time the friends will work together in 20 years.
Katie and Kerry, 44, made a joint appearance in 2004 when they both went on I’m A Celebrity and became close friends; However, they had a bitter and public fight in 2007.
The pair have repaired their friendship in recent years and Kerry reportedly helped Katie land her next panto job amid her bankruptcy battle.
Sharing the exciting news of her upcoming performance, Kerry said the show will be “an incredible journey.”
‘Can’t wait for Panto this Christmas!!’ Kerry wrote on Instagram on Thursday while revealing the promotional photos.

The panto company handling the production, Anton Benson Productions, also shared the casting news.
They wrote: ‘NORTHWICH PANTO STAR CASTING NEWS . We are delighted to announce that KATIE PRICE and KERRY KATONA will be headlining this year’s panto, Cinderella, at Northwich Memorial Court as the Wicked Step Sisters.
‘This marks 20 years since the friends last worked together in 2004 on I’m a Celebrity.
Katie showed off her tattooed midriff in the cropped gray cardigan.
The couple returned home after making a big shop at B&M.
Katie and JJ were all smiles as they spent time shopping together.

Kerry and Katie formed a close bond and even asked each other to be bridesmaids during two of their combined six weddings, after getting close on I’m A Celeb.
However, their friendship fell apart in 2007, after Katie called Kerry a “junkie” and the pair embarked on a bitter and public war of words.
During their fight, both women suffered a lot of drama and heartbreak before finally managing to bury the hatchet, thanks in part to the bond between their children.
Things have taken a turn in recent years and their friendship is back on track, even celebrating the New Year together.
Then earlier this year, Kerry helped bankrupt Katie land the role in the upcoming Cinderella pantomime.
