Sam Hunt and his wife Hannah Lee Fowler are expecting their third child together, two years after their divorce was called off.
The Hard To Forget singer, 39, shared the exciting news during an appearance on Audacy’s Katie & Company Podcast on Tuesday.
The country star and Fowler are already parents to daughter Lucy, two, and son Lowry, who was welcomed into the world last year.
“Both my wife and her sister have one on the way too,” Hunt expressed during the recent episode. ‘It’s about to get real. I am elated. I can’t wait.’
Fowler’s due date is next year in May and Sam talked about how the family is preparing for the new addition, including daughter Lucy.
‘We talked about it. We say, “Mom has a baby on the way,” we point to her belly and then she says, “No, I have a baby on the way,” the artist humorously revealed.

Hunt later revealed her plans to take time off from touring to focus on raising her children.
“I hope that in the next two years I take a break from touring,” said the singer. “The crowd has been great and I want to go out and tour while my kids are really little and can come with me…”
“And even though people are interested in coming to see us, I don’t want to take it for granted.”
Just a year earlier, in November, Sam and Hannan announced that their second child, a boy, had been born.
At the time, he uploaded a sweet family photo posing next to Fowler as she gently cradled the newborn in her arms.
The star flashed a joyful smile as she held her daughter while they were outside on a wooden deck surrounded by trees.
In the caption of the post, the Outskirts hitmaker simply wrote to his fans and followers: “Thank you Lord.”
And in early June this year, he uploaded more family photos to social media while visiting his wife’s family.

Sam and Hannah first met in 2008 until their separation in 2016, when he moved to Nashville to pursue his passion for music.
However, the couple soon rekindled their romance and got engaged in January 2017, saying “I do” during a romantic and intimate ceremony in Georgia in April of that year.
After five years of marriage, Fowler filed for divorce from Hunt in February 2022, accusing him of “adultery” and “inappropriate marital conduct.”
A few months later, in April, she called off the divorce and a source told her Entertainment tonight at that time, “Sam and Hannah are working to heal their relationship.”
‘They are very excited to welcome their baby and were focused on that. Sam has been working and making sure Hannah feels comfortable, safe and trusts him.
The source added: “He is acting protective about their relationship.” You’ve been careful to make sure things aren’t misinterpreted or that you’re putting your relationship in jeopardy.
“He is aware of how sensitive the situation is and he doesn’t want to hurt Hannah.”
Their daughter Lucy was born the following month, in May 2022, and in October 2023 their son was born.

During an interview with ET in July of last year, the singer opened up about starting a family and how fatherhood has changed him.
“There were years when, you know, maybe I didn’t realize how much I had to do to grow.”
Sam continued: ‘And having a child forces you to do that. Change something in your nervous system. There is a skin that I needed to shed and I did it when I had my son.’
“It woke me up from this, I wouldn’t say I was sleepwalking, but I had definitely gotten into a routine after years of doing the same thing over and over again.”
During an interview with ET in July of last year, the singer opened up about starting a family and how fatherhood has changed him.

The performer explained: “I was in a place in my life where I really needed that, and I’m grateful for that and I feel like I’ve leveled up in a lot of ways.”

Shortly before the baby news was revealed this week, Sam kept busy and released his latest single titled Liberty.
The song was officially released earlier this month on November 1, and also celebrated the 10th anniversary of their debut album Montevallo last month.
