Former AFL player Ricky Olarenshaw has broken his silence over the alleged sex scandal that left his ex-wife languishing in a Bali jail, claiming some of the claims are “false and inaccurate”.
Sarnanitha ‘Nitha’ Olarenshaw has been accused of running a brothel out of her spa business on the Indonesian resort island.
The former Essendon player and 1993 premiership winner returned to Australia 10 weeks ago, before Nitha was arrested following raids at the Flame Spa massage parlour.
Daily Mail Australia does not suggest Mr Olarenshaw knew about the allegedly illegal activity at the spa.
He now reportedly lives on the Gold Coast, where nine news She confronted him while walking her dog on the beach.
His priorities are his two children, who remain in Bali staying with relatives.
“It’s a delicate and complicated situation,” Olarenshaw said.
His ex-wife could be sentenced to up to 12 years in prison for owning the Seminyak business that Indonesian police say offered sexual services.
Last week, Nitha lost a bid to be released from jail after her lawyers claimed she was framed as the owner of Flame Spa and that it was actually owned by four Australian men, including her ex-husband, an allegation about which he could not comment.

Ricky Olarenshaw (pictured on the Gold Coast on Wednesday) has broken his silence over the alleged sex scandal that left his ex-wife languishing in a Bali jail.
“His business is under investigation by Indonesian authorities at the moment and, being a legal matter, I can’t really comment further on it,” Olarenshaw said.
“Much of the information that has been reported has been false and inaccurate, which has been frustrating and disappointing,” he said.
“The goal now is just to be reunited with my kids.”
In addition to losing her bid for freedom, Nitha also had to pay costs.
Presiding Judge Tenny Erma Suryathi ruled that police lawfully arrested her and had gathered enough evidence to charge her company with offering sex to clients at her spa.
Olarenshaw’s lawyer, Manaon Damianus Sirait, told reporters outside court that while they were “disappointed” by the outcome, they respect the decision.
Imam Ismail of the police legal team said prosecutors would now focus on completing a dossier of evidence “so that the trial can begin soon.”
Olarenshaw, an Instagram influencer with 20,000 followers, faces a lengthy prison sentence if convicted of alleged “pornography and prostitution” activities in the business.
His lawyer, Donny Tri Istiqomah, told Daily Mail Australia last week that Olarenshaw had been a victim of “exploitation” and “criminalization” by foreigners.
Istigomah said that while Olarenshaw, being Balinese, owned 99 per cent of the business to circumvent local laws, all profits went to four Australians who had shares in Flame.

Olarenshaw claimed the four Australians are her ex-husband Ricky, her brother Darren and two other Australians living in Bali, Adam Dalby and Gregory Hinchliffe.
Istigomah insisted that Flame Seminyak, part of a chain of spas with sister centers in Kuta and Canggu, only offered “sensual massages, not sexual intercourse”.
Olarenshaw is being held at the Bali Police Detention and Evidence Directorate, along with Melbourne couple Michael and Lynley Le Grand, who were arrested separately for alleged prostitution at Pink Palace Spa.
Panjaitan said police believed they already had in custody all those responsible for allegedly allowing prostitution in their businesses.
