A jogger who stumbled upon a couple having sex in the middle of a golf course says she shared a photo of the brazen act out of fear they were cheating.
The couple were caught in the act by the woman as the sun set on Monday on the sixteenth hole at Clarks Beach Golf Club, about an hour south of Auckland.
“Hey, Romeo, Juliet, on a Monday at 7:15 p.m., really?” he captioned a photo of the raunchy performance on a local Facebook group.
The woman told the local media outlet New Zealand Herald He decided to post the photo because “someone could have been fooling someone.”
“I grabbed my phone and took a quick video, probably a four-second video, but at that point they stopped moving, I think they realized I was there,” he said.
‘After my run, I saw a man and woman in the distance playing golf, and they looked to be in their 50s or 60s.
“Then I had a feeling it might have been them, but they weren’t making any eye contact with me.”
In the photo, a bag of sticks was seen next to the couple who were lying on the ground, one of them with his bare butt out, in the middle of the street.

The Clarks Beach course in New Zealand gained infamy overnight after the obscene act
‘I mean, I understand the passion, but couldn’t they have at least chosen somewhere a little more private?’ Maybe a bush or something,” the woman wrote in her post.
“I guess they were going for the ‘live nature documentary’ vibe.”
Social media users were quick to mock the brazen act.
“It looks like a full moon that night,” one joked.
—The nineteenth hole? said another.
‘The best publicity the golf course has ever received. Now everyone knows a golf course in Clarks Beach,” commented a third.
Clarks Beach Golf Club showed it had a sense of humor about the unfortunate incident in a post on its Facebook page.
‘After the dizzying successes of viral marketing that have undoubtedly put our golf club on the map… it’s time to get to work!’ said.
‘It’s our AGM this Saturday at 10am, make sure you’re there!’
