An UberEats worker will probably never get an easier job after making a delivery 200 meters away.
Driver Feras only had to walk 75 steps from a Hungry Jack’s restaurant in Brisbane to make his delivery to a hungry customer, earning $6.
Feras said Yahoo News who was “a little surprised” when the reservation arrived.
He considered driving the short distance but opted to walk.
“I looked at my car and thought, let me walk,” he said.
“I don’t know how much the customer paid or how much Uber made…I think I got like $6.”
To make the delivery, Feras simply had to cross a one-way street between the Hungry Jack’s restaurant and the customer’s address.
Aside from the short distance, Feras said it was an easy delivery that consisted of enough food for only 1 or 2 people.

“It wasn’t heavy…in fact, the paper bag wasn’t even very full,” he said.
“Maybe (enough food) for one or two people.”
It’s still unclear why the customer didn’t go to the Hungry Jack’s restaurant to pick up their order and save $6.
Having worked as a delivery driver in the UK and Australia, Feras has noticed a big difference between customers in the two countries.
He said customers in the UK do not pay delivery costs for short distance jobs, unlike they do in Australia.
He revealed that deliveries of 900 million are common in Australia and that Brisbane has a faster pace of deliveries than London.
Feras said he simply had to cross a one-way street between the Hungry Jack’s restaurant and the hungry owner’s house.
He said the benefit from Brisbane to London is that there is less traffic and he enjoys the customers here.
“Sometimes there are some impatient people, but in general they are positive.”
After his brief 200-meter delivery, Feras jokingly perked up.
“I’m not your typical Joe delivery guy, I’m a delivery hero,” he said.
Uber Eats delivery drivers have posted about their shorter deliveries on Reddit.
An Uber Eats delivery driver wrote that they delivered to the same McDonald’s restaurant.
“The guy was there and said he ordered Uber Eats to pick it up himself.”
‘I don’t know why, but he gave me the pin and everything. He said it must have been a technical problem and even gave me a tip.
“It was literally a 2 second ‘delivery’ for $8,” they wrote.
Another Uber Eats delivery driver recalled how they delivered food to apartments right above the store where the items were purchased.
“Easiest fall ever,” they wrote.
