Heart-stopping footage shows the moment a woman pushes a stroller to narrowly avoid being hit by a reckless driver during a high-speed police chase.
Jack Williamson, 29, led officers on the dangerous chase around Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, on September 14, reaching speeds of 70mph in a 30mph zone.
A court heard the thug drove on the wrong side of the road, mounted the pavement to overtake other road users and ran red lights in a bid to evade capture.

She was quickly forced out of the way when the disqualified driver ran a red light in the city centre.

Williamson (pictured) has been sentenced to 14 months in jail for careless driving on September 14.
Williamson later abandoned his vehicle in a pub car park before fleeing into nearby woodland where he hid in a roadside bush.
However, he was sniffed out by police dog Seth and his handler, who were able to track Williamson’s scent from the driver’s seat to his nearby hiding place.
Williamson, a banned driver who had previously been jailed for a similar offence, surrendered to officers and was arrested at the scene.
He did not respond to any comments in interview but later pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
Williamson, of Huthwaite, Notts., was jailed for 14 months at Nottingham Crown Court on Monday.
Detective Sergeant Clint Gloyn, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a display of appalling and reckless driving which endangered other road users and pedestrians.”
However, Williamson was sniffed out by police dog Seth (pictured) and his handler, who were able to track the thug’s scent from the driver’s seat to his nearby hiding place.

Seconds later, Williamson is seen speeding through a pedestrian crossing, narrowly avoiding a woman pushing a stroller.
‘At one point, a woman pushing a stroller was forced to take evasive action as Williamson drove through a pedestrian zone.
He then hid from our officers and may not have been discovered without the intervention of Seth, who was able to track Williamson’s scent from the car to his hiding place.
‘Using additional CCTV footage, we were also able to demonstrate that Williamson had gotten out of the driver’s seat before fleeing the scene.
“Overall, he had no choice but to plead guilty and will now spend more time behind bars as a result.”
