Former Scotland captain Stuart Hogg was arrested outside his ex-wife’s home last weekend, according to a report.
Hogg, who retired from rugby before the World Cup last year, was reportedly arrested on suspicion of causing fear and alarm by acting in a threatening or abusive manner last weekend.
He appeared to have attended an event alongside several celebrities, posing for photographs with the likes of actor Martin Compston and chef Greg Wallace, to watch his former team take on England in the Six Nations at Scotland’s Gas Murrayfield stadium.
After the match, which Scotland won 30-21, Hogg shared images on social media with the caption: “What a day.” What a result! Excellent performance from the Scotland boys. I really enjoyed being among these legends @mrmartincompston and @greggawallace at the @ignite.experiences Players Lounge.’
It is reported by SunHowever, he was arrested a few hours later at his former family home in Hawick, Roxburghshire, at around 5pm on Saturday.

He is said to have been taken to Hawick police station and then released, although he will appear in court shortly after a report is made to prosecutors.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “At around 4.40pm on Sunday, February 25, police were called to an address in Hawick.
‘A 31-year-old man was arrested and charged. He was released with an undertaking to appeal to Jedburgh Sheriff Court at a later date.
‘A report will be submitted to the Attorney General.’
Police were also reportedly called earlier in the year when Hogg was, according to Suninvolved in a drunken family fight on New Year’s Day at his brother’s house.
Hogg, who now does odd jobs as a pundit, split from his wife Gillian last year before the birth of the couple’s fourth child, and soon went public with his relationship with jockey and Sky Sports presenter Leonna Mayor.
Last year he received an MBE in the King’s New Year’s Honors List after earning 100 international caps for his country and topping the list of all-time try scorers.

He has four children with Gillian and, according to SunHe had refused to leave the family home after their separation, and his ex-partner, then pregnant, moved in with her parents with the couple’s three children.
Hogg is said to have ended his rugby career to spend more time with his family.
