Cristiano Ronaldo dodged a penalty in stoppage time as his team Al Nassr was knocked out of the Copa del Rey.
Al Nassr were eliminated from the competition in the round of 16 by Al Taawoun, who beat the home team 1-0 on Tuesday afternoon.
Ronaldo wasted a golden opportunity to level the match in injury time and force the tie into extra time.
But the former Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus superstar sent his penalty over the bar.
The 39-year-old walked away from the visiting area with his head in his hands.

Ronaldo, 39, has experienced his third elimination in the Copa del Rey against visiting Al Taawoun.
Al Taawoun surprised the home fans when they took the lead in the 71st minute, when defender Waleed Al-Ahmed headed in a corner kick.
The visiting team almost scored again in stoppage time, but in a dramatic turnaround, Waleed almost went from hero to villain when he brought down Mohammed Maran inside the penalty area to award a penalty.
Fortunately, the anxiety was alleviated by Ronaldo’s missed penalty, which sealed the Portuguese player’s third consecutive elimination from the Copa del Rey since joining Al Nassr in 2022.
Ronaldo will be looking to get back to his old self when the Saudi Pro League resumes on Friday and Al Nassr takes on league leaders Al Hilal.
