Nathan Cleary is the best rugby league player in the world in many people’s eyes, but his photography skills definitely need some fine-tuning.
The Panthers back, 26, is currently on holiday abroad with his girlfriend Matildas and Manchester City star Mary Fowler, and showed off his romantic side publicly after she posted some pictures from a recent trip. football to Austria.
“You take some pretty photos,” Cleary posted on Instagram in response to Fowler’s photo dump from Vienna.
Fowler then posted another image on Friday on an Instagram Story, and the soccer superstar would have been embarrassed.
The image had the accompanying image, ‘nice girl pics’, after Cleary tried to take a quick photo, with the camera lens still on.
Earlier this week, Fowler, 21, scored the Citizens’ winning goal in a 3-2 win against St. Pölten in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
She headed home in the 80th minute to seal three valuable away points after fellow Australian Alanna Kennedy opened the scoring with a shot from 25 yards.
“I’m just happy to get that win with the girls and obviously being able to help out like that with a goal feels really good,” Fowler said.

Fowler and Cleary are a power couple in sports and seem determined to make their relationship last long distance.
Earlier this week, Fowler, 21, scored the Citizens’ winning goal in a 3-2 win against St. Pölten in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
The couple were “discovered” in November last year in Perth ahead of a Matildas Olympic qualifier in a Daily Mail Australia exclusive.
“I’m so proud of the girls for being able to come from behind and change that energy and get the result at the end.”
Cleary, who is expected to return to Australia soon for shoulder surgery, recently spoke in detail about their relationship for the first time.
He explained how Fowler changed his life for the better.
“I loved it, it’s everything I would have ever dreamed of having a partner, to be honest,” he told Channel Nine. Marlee and I Podcast.
“It just adds a new perspective, but it also adds an extra layer that when things are going well you want to share it with them and talk about it… and when things aren’t going well, they’re there too.”
