A deranged woman was overheard threatening to arrest her neighbor, but got instant karma when her husband handcuffed her.
A clip of the moment has since gone viral online when a resident of the building posted her interaction with the woman and her husband.
In the clip, the couple’s neighbor claims she tried to “set the record straight” after she and her fiancé were accused of running an “illegal dog daycare” outside their home.
In an attempt to talk to the couple about the situation, the neighbor, an Asian woman, said she knocked on the back door of their home, which appeared to be what sparked the “explosive argument” in which racist comments were hurled at her.
The incident, which quickly escalated, showed a woman, later nicknamed ‘Karen’, wearing a pink short-sleeved shirt and blue jeans. Her husband was seen wearing a white T-shirt and navy blue shorts as she yelled at the neighbor.
Several clips captured different parts of the aftermath after the neighbor posted home surveillance video and moments she recorded on her phone. It is not clear exactly where this occurred.
An elderly couple was seen angry at their neighbor after she knocked on the back door of their home, which appeared to be what sparked the ‘explosive argument’.
The video, which has racked up 6.8 million views since it was posted on September 12, began with Karen yelling at her neighbor.
“I’ll have you arrested,” he told the woman behind the camera while pointing his finger at her.
“Don’t point at me,” the neighbor responded.
“I’ll have you arrested,” the older woman responded, before her neighbor asked, “For knocking on your door?”
The angry woman then shouted: ‘Yes!’
‘You knocked on my door, I answered,’ said the neighbor.
“I never knocked on your door,” the woman responded angrily.
Her husband then got into the heated confrontation and shouted: ‘You knocked on our back door!’
Then his wife intervened again, pointing at his house and saying, ‘That’s a real idiot door!’
After a brief moment of silence, the woman asked her neighbor: ‘Are you that stupid?’
The young woman tried to respond, but the older neighbor interrupted her and said, ‘You are!’ before appearing to mock her and adding: “You’re stupid!”
The lady recording chuckled as her furious neighbor continued.
“We knocked on the front door for a damn reason,” she screamed, while her husband added, “You knocked on the back door!”
The woman dressed in pink then told her neighbor that she can call the police if she wants, while the young woman asked why knocking on the back door ‘makes a difference.’
‘It does matter! “We don’t know you,” the neighbor shouted back.
‘We used to be civilized. You used to pet my dog. I talk to you all the time when you walk,’ the young woman said while the wife hurled racial insults.
“Why the fuck are you knocking on our back door, you Asian idiot?” the woman yelled before walking up the stairs.
The husband then asked again why the woman knocked on the basement door while the lady filming was laughing.
The furious old woman turned around and shouted: ‘Fuck you!’ while the neighbor tried to explain why she decided to approach them by knocking on the back door.
“Because I thought that’s where you come and go all the time, so I thought that,” the woman said before the older lady interrupted her and said, “That’s none of your business!”
‘We don’t know you,’ the lady added irritably as her neighbor tried to explain why she did what she did.
‘No, you don’t explain anything. ‘I’m an English student, so shut up, you idiot!’ the woman shouted before heading back up the stairs.
Surveillance footage shows the man and woman berating their neighbor, whom they accused of running an “illegal dog daycare” in their home.
“Geez,” the young woman responded, as the gray-haired woman said, “You’re an asshole and you call, you do it again, I don’t care.” The police will come.
‘Let them come, please. “I’ll call them myself,” the woman recording responded.
The clip ends with a photo of the woman’s unnamed husband being placed in a police car.
In the caption, the content creator, known as skunarpz, claimed that the man was arrested because “there was a warrant for his arrest.”
In the days after the incident, the woman shared more videos, including a clip of another neighbor intervening.
The neighbor, who was not seen, was heard asking the elderly white woman if she thought she liked the young neighbor “because she’s dark.”
“I said I wanted to make sure everyone was okay, I think I asked you,” the second neighbor said.
“You didn’t care about us,” the older woman responded.
‘You’re the first person I asked, “Are you okay?” You just stood there and looked at me,’ the neighbor said.
After the two exchanged a few more words, the old woman said, ‘Oh, so you’re not listening to me because I’m white!’, before slamming the door shut.
‘This bitch is crazy,’ the neighbor told the woman recording.
Other clips showed a man, who the young neighbor said was the owner, interacting with the woman.
Although she said she’s “not sure what happened,” Karen was heard telling the man, “Get out of here,” before slamming the door.
The neighbor who recorded the intense exchange said she has two dogs of her own and occasionally takes care of her sister.
