As fans around the world mourn the loss of Liam Payne, a source has exclusively revealed that Taylor Swift may pay tribute to the late singer on the opening night of the final leg of her Eras Tour.
The 34-year-old hitmaker is reportedly distraught over the former One Direction member’s death.
“She is very sad about this because she came up with those guys and she loved Liam so much,” a source revealed to DailyMail.com.
“He was always good to her,” they added.
The pair appeared to have a good working relationship, and Payne revealed in 2017 on the Jingle Bell Ball red carpet that the Cruel Summer singer had sent her a basket and a beautifully handwritten note.

‘S“He (Swift) actually sent me a lovely little basket with some new Reputation gear,” Payne he told a journalist of On Demand Entertainment at the time.
“He has very good handwriting, if he wrote it at all,” he joked, joking that the hitmaker can “afford to have someone do calligraphy for all of us.”
Swift dated Payne’s One Direction bandmate Harry Styles for several months in late 2012.
The final stage of Swift’s Eras Tour kicks off on Friday, October 18 in Miami, Florida.
Payne died at age 31 on Wednesday, October 16. after falling from his room at the Casa Sur Palmero Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The pop star had reportedly arrived in the Latin American country earlier this month to attend his former bandmate Niall Horan’s concert.
Several witnesses reported that Payne had fallen from his room shortly after 5 p.m. (ART).
A police statement from local police said they arrived at the hotel after being “reported of an aggressive man who may have been under the influence of drugs and alcohol.”
Spokesman for the city’s ambulance service provider, Alberto Crescenti, said Payne had fallen about 40 meters and suffered “serious injuries that were incompatible with life.”
He said: ‘The alarm was raised at 5:04 pm local time saying that a person was lying in an internal courtyard of Casa Sur.
‘At 5:11 pm an ambulance arrived and the man was certified dead.
‘Later we discovered that he had been a famous singer. Unfortunately, the injuries he had suffered as a result of the fall proved fatal. There was no possibility of resuscitating him.’
One of the star’s latest Snapchat posts showed him happily posing with partner Kate Cassidy as they looked in a mirror, a photo that was originally taken last August.
Swift, 34, is reportedly devastated by the former One Direction member’s death and is planning the best way to pay her respects.
The star heartbreakingly said she was “happy to have some time off” less than an hour before she fell to her death.
Another tragic selfie was captioned: “Beautiful day in Argentina.”
Payne was seen contemplating a Forest Gump Halloween costume: he would die just 15 days before the holiday.
He was previously in a relationship with British pop sensation Cheryl Cole and the couple welcomed their son Bear Gray on March 22, 2017.
