A chemical explosion at the University of Sydney sent three people to hospital.
Paramedics were called to the university shortly before 10am following a small chemical explosion.
A worker was reportedly transporting chemicals when a reaction occurred in the bucket, causing a “cloud of vapor” and an explosion.
Three people were exposed to the vapor cloud and all three were taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital with minor injuries.
The chemicals are now stable and fire crews wear protective clothing to clean up the site.
