Billy Brownless’ ex-wife Nicky enjoyed a yacht trip with her fiancé Garry Lyon and his Footy Show pals Sam Newman and James Brayshaw.
AFL star Sam, 78, hosted the group on his luxury yacht during a trip to Palm Bay in the Whitsundays over the weekend for a fun-filled Footy Show reunion.
Photos and videos showed Sam and her friend Sue Stanley smiling alongside Nicky and Garry, 57, as well as Seven Sport star James, 57, and his partner Lisa.
However, fans quickly realized that Billy, who is also a Footy Show alum and Nicky’s ex-husband, was absent from the reunion as all the AFL friends gathered on the trip.
Commenting on a YouTube video of the trip, one fan wrote: “I can’t help but feel a little sad for Billy Brownless. I hope he’s okay emotionally.”
Another said: “Gary with Billy’s ex Nicky,” while a third added: “I wonder if they’re inviting Billy?”
However, others simply urged people to “move on” as they noted Billy’s recent joy after revealing he had found love again with businesswoman Crystle Fleur.
Billy and Nicky split after 18 years in 2015 and she moved in with her best friend and Footy Show co-host Garry, 57, around a year later.

However, fans were quick to notice that Billy, who is also a Footy Show alum and Nicky’s ex-husband, was absent from the reunion as all the AFL friends were reunited on the trip.
A month after their relationship made headlines, Billy revealed how the relationship had impacted his family, saying “a good partner wouldn’t do that.”
At the time, he also sensationally confessed that Garry and Nicky’s secret relationship could have lasted for years.
‘I couldn’t believe it. I discovered it three or four months ago. “I asked Garry and Nicky earlier what was going on and they said they were just good friends,” he said on The AFL Footy Show at the time. “That’s what hurts the most.”
However, the former best friends appear to have moved on from the feud and even spent Christmas together, along with Nicky and the Brownless children, in recent years.
Billy and Nicky share four children: daughters Lucy and Ruby and sons Oscar and Max.
In January, Billy and Garry even reunited on the airwaves in a stunning eight-year first as SEN Melbourne celebrated 20 years in Australian radio.
Alongside Tim Watson, the trio reminisced about their past antics, including “running into some trouble” with their bosses after going on air a year after a big night at the Logies.
Nicky and Garry are still in a relationship and got engaged last year, with the former AFL star popping the question in New York.

Meanwhile, Billy has moved on with mother-of-three Crystle Fleur. They have been dating for two months and made their debut on the Carji Greeves Medal red carpet.
Meanwhile, Billy moved in with mother-of-three Crystle, who owns a Geelong-based equestrian company called Erinvale Thoroughbreds.
They have been dating for two months and made their red carpet debut at the Carji Greeves Medal, which celebrates Geelong’s best and fairest, earlier this month.
Crystle also joined Billy at the September Club after Saturday’s AFL Grand Final, where his ex-wife Nicky and Garry were also in attendance.
‘We love our football and racing. “She doesn’t like being in photographs but everything is going well,” Billy told the Herald Sun of his new romance on Thursday.
