Kmart Australia has launched a trendy $35 summer dress that’s already so popular it’s sold out online.
The sleeveless bow back midi dress is a perfect summer staple designed with a pattern inspired by the Amalfi Coast.
The engraving features sketches of lemons, olives, chili peppers, flowers, candles and wine, symbols often associated with Positano in Italy.
Other brands have released similar looks with the trending style; Palm Noosa released a version that costs $360 and Forever New for $189.99.
But the Kmart option is ideal for those on a budget.
The mid-length dress is available in sizes six to 20, and is made with a square neckline, two side pockets and tie detail at the back.
A shopper calling himself Kmart Insider noticed the purchase and shared images on Instagram.
‘This summer’s hottest trend just arrived at Kmart! For just $35 we can all add a touch of European charm to our look,” she wrote.

The purchase quickly caught the attention of customers who approved of the dress.
“Oh how beautiful,” one wrote.
“I’m so obsessed with these prints,” said another.
‘My God, how cute! Wasn’t in my shop today, hope they arrive soon!’ added a third.
‘I wish the print was a little darker (or) vibrant!’ someone else said.
Last month, shoppers were obsessed with a $25 yellow cardigan.
The Pocket Cardigan caught the attention of shoppers who described the aesthetic as “chic” and “old fashioned.”
Australian mum Bee bragged about the purchase in a video, calling it “adorable”.
Last month, a $25 yellow cardigan from Kmart Australia divided opinion among shoppers. The Pocket Cardigan has been described as “chic”, while others said it looks “ugly”.
‘Honestly, this cardigan for $25! You’ve done it again, Kmart,’ he captioned the 30-second clip.
It’s designed with gold-look buttons, ribbed details, two non-functional pockets and a relaxed, roomy fit.
But not everyone was impressed with the budget product, with one woman saying it’s an “oxymoron” to describe a cheap Kmart cardigan as “old money.”
‘This is a senior day trip to bloody Daylesford Lake House. It wasn’t giving old money,” the woman said in a now viral video.
‘Nothing should give old money. Perpetuating fucking inequality is what old money is…please don’t say Kmart is giving out old money, it’s an oxymoron.’
