This comes after it was revealed that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky would release a tribute song to their tragic friend Fatman Scoop.
They are apparently two of a number of friends of the late artists who got together to make the song after the ‘Lose Control’ singer died aged 53 following his collapse on stage in front of a crowd of shocked fans.
A source told The Sun how Rihanna apparently recorded vocals for the song at Red Bus Recording Studio in London earlier this week: “Rihanna and Scoop knew each other well.
‘They had collaborated before and, most recently, Scoop had recorded a song, ‘Happy Hood’, on Rocky’s next album, ‘Don’t Be Dumb.’
‘After his death, Rihanna was offered the opportunity to voice him.
“She spent the beginning of this week locked up in London’s Red Bus Recording Studios.
“It was a very low-key visit and she was there for a day or two until the early hours of the morning.”
A$AP, born Rakim Athelaston Mayers, recently revealed that he had recorded the track ‘Happy Hood’ with Fatman Scoop, as well as Slick Rick, Busta Rhymes, Flavor Flav and Morrissey.
He told Zane Lowe on the host’s Apple 1 Music show about the tune: “I literally tried to figure out how to get my favorite rappers.”

Fatman Scoop, born Issac Freeman III, fell on stage while performing at Hamden Town Center Park, Connecticut, on August 30 and was rushed to the hospital before being pronounced dead.
