Katy Perry wowed the crowd at Melbourne’s MCG on Saturday during her AFL Grand Final show.
But the pop star, 39, went viral while performing for a very unexpected reason.
While Katy sang her hit song Teenage Dream, some of her dancers wore silver balloon costumes.
But one of the costumes was not inflated and stood out among the company’s many inflated silver balloons.
Many viewers took to social media to mock the deflated dancer.
In a video of the moment shared on TikTok, user yasminjnelson wrote in the caption “the deflated balloon is Katy Perry’s new left shark.”
The TikTokker was referring to the viral moment from Katy Perry’s performance at the 2015 Superbowl, when a dancer dressed as a shark appeared to dance awkwardly next to the singer.
While the dancer in the shark costume on the right was on time, the dancer on the left was out of rhythm and not in unison with his counterpart.
