Development on the film began in the mid-2010s and an animation was officially confirmed to be in the works in 2017.
Steven Spielberg was one of the executive producers and Michael Bay, who directed several films in the Transformers series, also produced.
Brian Tyree Henry, Jon Hamm and Laurence Fishburne also star in the film’s A-list cast.
