The Knicks added another guard on Saturday, signing a veteran free agent. Landry Shamet to a one-year contract, for Adrian Wojnarowski.
Shamet, 27, has played for five teams in the past seven years. Last season he was with the Washington Wizards, where he averaged 7.1 points per game in 15.8 minutes per game and shot 33.8 percent from three-point range.
Over his career, Shamet has a 38.4 percent three-point shooting percentage, averaging 8.7 points per game.
Shamet will likely fit in as a depth piece, giving them another shooter off the bench.
