Meghan Markle Set to Return to UK with Harry and Kids Despite Previous Vow

Meghan Markle could be returning to the UK for the first time since Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral, as sources reveal she and Prince Harry, along with their children Archie and Lilibet, have been invited to spend Christmas with Harry’s uncle Charles Spencer in Althorp.

According The expressThe Duke and Duchess of Sussex have received an invitation from Charles Spencer to join him at his family estate over the festive period. If they accept, it would be Meghan’s first trip to the UK since September 2022. “Charles Spencer has invited Harry, Meghan and the children to Althorp this Christmas.

“It’s too early to say whether they will take up the offer, but the offer is there if they want it,” a source revealed. While there hasn’t been an invitation to Sandringham, where the royal family traditionally gathers, the source suggested it’s not completely off the table. “An invitation to Sandringham hasn’t been extended yet, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be one soon,” they added. However, they noted that the Sussexes are unlikely to accept even if they are offered one.

This development comes after Meghan’s close ally and royal commentator Omid Scobie previously… reclaimed Meghan “never felt at home” in the UK and had no desire to return. Scobie had said she “never wants to set foot in England again”.

With Christmas fast approaching, it remains to be seen whether Meghan and Harry will accept Charles Spencer’s invitation, but their decision will no doubt spark further interest in their ongoing relationship with the royal family.
