Want to test your football knowledge? Then look no further than Teamsheet… Mail Sport’s original football memory game that tests your ability to remember players and matches from years gone by.

Every day, you’ll be asked what your starting XI will be for a random match from the Premier League archives. You’ll be given a team’s approximate line-up and how many letters each player’s name has. From there, your task will be to remember the 11 stars in as few attempts as possible.

Each time you guess a player correctly, a point is added to your total, with the BEST possible score being 11. When you’re done, be sure to share your score with friends, family and colleagues to see how they’re doing. Once you’re done, you can choose a team and we’ll make a second team sheet for you.

You can play two games a day and choose ANY club, from Portsmouth to Norwich, that has played in the Premier League since 2006. Premier League matches from 1992 to 2006 will be available in the coming weeks.

It’s hard to forget Cristiano Ronaldo’s shock return to Manchester United in 2021, not to mention his emphatic second debut for the club. His two goals inspired the Red Devils to a 4-1 win over Newcastle in September 2021, before the dream reunion was ruined and he packed his bags to join Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.

But how many of his team-mates do you think you can remember from Manchester United’s starting XI? There are a few names that may surprise you…

Enjoy!

HOW TO PLAY

The objective of the game is to score as many points as possible. few points as possible!

If you guess a player on the first try, you get one point, so the lowest score for guessing each The player on the first attempt is 11.

Guess a correct letter in the correct position and it will turn green. Guess a correct letter but in the wrong position and it will turn yellow.

You have six attempts for each player. If you can’t remember a player, you can ask for a free letter, but it will cost you one point and one attempt. And if you use all six attempts, we’ll tell you their name, but it will cost you 11 points.
